History of needle-free injections

Needles

Not too many people actually enjoy needles.  It’s even worse for those who take painkillers or other abortive drugs with needles – could there possibly be a worse time to add more pain?  This is why most of us are looking forward to the day when needles will be a thing of the past.

One area of research that’s trying to make this a reality is the "needle free" injection.  Something that will basically do the same thing without poking your skin like a needle does.  I wanted to share the article below with you – it’s an older article, but it is a good summary of the history of this technology, and where it’s going.

Read the article now from V R Sinha from the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in India – Needle free injection technology.  Also, check out the blog entry from just over a year ago about needle-free injections.

Wouldn’t that be so awesome?! I can’t wait, now. lol I hate giving myself shots and getting them, too. And, just think of all the mothers who hate seeing their children get immunized. I used to cry after I took O’ in to get immunizations. It was so traumatic! This is going to be really, really awesome when this happens. :) I learn so much from your blog. Thanks!
