Stick it in your ear! (A new “natural” migraine treatment)
Dr. David Sullivan is a chiropractic neurologist who has been testing (with success) a new drug-free treatment for migraine pain.
There are a lot of treatments out there that are just emerging. Although they have been documented, and have gone through (and are going through) clinical trials, they’re not widely known. This unusual treatment, with a newly published clinical trial, is far from mainstream but still worth taking a look at.
The treatment involves stimulating the ear drum. That may sound strange, until you remember the web of chain reactions that include your brain, chemicals throughout the body, blood vessels and nerves.
The treatment is given as an abortive, but along with a treatment program Dr. Sullivan’s patients are seeing significant improvement.
The video below gives a bit of a demonstration. To participate in the continuing trials of this treatment, read more here: Keystone Chiropractic Neurology Announces a Clinical Trial for Migraine Headaches

Sign me up! Mechanicsburg, PA? Hmm. Maybe Dr. Sullivan would like to vacation in sunny Tucson for awhile.

Thank you for presenting this information on your blog. I appreciate your work and continually sharing information that could help benefit others in pain. My colleagues and I have been using this technique and seeing great results in migraine headaches. It does not work for every single person, as migraines are unique and complex, but for those that benefit from it, it can be an extremely valuable tool in their management strategy. Thanks again,
Dr. Sullivan

I saw this work for the first time today and I was stunned. While in the chiropractor’s waiting room, I witnessed a very distraught migraine patient who rated her pain at 7 out of 10 with an accompanying aura and in about 30 seconds, she was a new women. Her relief sounded as if she was having an orgasm. Incredible, especially when you realize that migraine sufferers resort to Botox, Imitrex and other toxic drugs just to carry on with daily life. I don’t think the drug companies are too thrilled either. Too bad!
