This week – Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week

by James on 10 September 2007

Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week is launching today.  If you visited the website earlier, you may have been wondering why there was no speaker lineup.  Don’t worry, they were having some internet problems and the updates weren’t making it to your screen.  Scroll down on this page for a full schedule, and scroll down further for a list of the speakers.  There’s a great lineup – advocates, lawyers, doctors and authors, and topics including:

  • Taking a Stand: How to Avoid Medical Mistakes
  • Parenting When You Have a Chronic illness
  • What Everybody Ought To Know About Magnesium
  • Time Management – How it can make a difference with your illness
  • …and many more, of course!

If you can’t make it to the actual sessions, you can also come by 24/7 and chat with other visitors (a great time to share ideas!), or read the transcripts to see if someone asked the question you wanted to ask.

    See you there!
