10 Tips to fight back against migraine this Holiday Season
- Stay hydrated.
- Be thankful for the moment – don’t always look ahead or behind.
- Get enough sleep – ahead of time, not just after the parties.
- Have a plan if a migraine attack hits. (a quiet place to retreat to? someone to watch the kids? meds handy?)
- Prepare to say “No”. Sometimes.
- You don’t HAVE TO eat/drink it. (if you’ll regret it, there are probably other great options.)
- Avoid putting all your hopes into one day.
- Build in breaks for yourself – every day, every week.
- Keep small, healthy snacks handy.
- Enjoy yourself, and help others do the same!
