A Personal Note from James
Hi everyone! It’s about time I stopped by just to share a bit of a personal note, in case you’re wondering what’s going on. I don’t do this too often here, but many of you have shown interest and in this case the personal note does relate to this website as well.
Some of you might have noticed that, at the very least, I haven’t been responding to comments as much as usual. Well, I haven’t been able to keep up with everything as much as I’ve wanted to.
Part of the reason is health. I’ve been adjusting (maybe?) to some new treatments, and also my health has been poorer than usual. So to say the least, keeping up with the website and blog have been a big effort.
However, be assured that I am reading your comments, and your emails. I’m taking note of them, and continuing my research so that I can answer your questions and write about the things that you’re interested in.
So you are not being ignored! I still care, and I will continue to do my best to bring you quality, well researched, practical and accurate information. 🙂
I will be travelling over the summer, so it remains to be seen how much posting I’ll be able to do. But I’ll do my best. And I have some exciting plans for the fall for Headache and Migraine News, so stay tuned!
And I know, you’re still waiting for the next instalment of the trigger points series. The research is almost done, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to post it. I haven’t forgotten!
The podcasts are another thing that has suffered. But I’ve enjoyed doing them, and hope to continue when I can. What do you think? Are they worth the effort?
Anyway, this wasn’t supposed to be a big apology – just wanted to let you know what’s going on so that you’re in the loop. I’m all right, but need to take things one step at a time.
Remember, you can also follow me on Twitter. Every once in a while I post links to interesting information there that you won’t see here, as well as the usual Twitter-type stuff.
And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming…

James, I appreciate you so much. I am so sorry that your health is poor lately. Take care of you! If there is anything that you have helped us understand is that too many stressful commitments aren’t good for our health, which adversely affects our personal lives. I can still remember the day you posted the picture of your beautiful children to the question, “Why do I do this?” It’s the same reason that you should concentrate on yourself and getting better, doing everything you need to do in order to take care of those beautiful children. In other words, don’t worry about meeting our needs. You’ve been doing that for me for at least a year – you have helped me in more ways than I can put into words.
James, take care of you, so you can enjoy those beautiful children, because that’s what we do all of this for anyway, isn’t it – so we can be there for the ones we love?! We will all still be here when you return. You have left us so well equipped with plenty to research and read. Take care of yourself. I will be keeping you in my prayers. God bless you!! 🙂 Beth
PS And if YOU need anything, don’t hesitate to ask me through Twitter…. It’s the least I can do for all that you’ve done for me.

Sorry to hear you’ve not been well James. Take care of yourself and don’t push yourself too hard. Remember, the most important thing is to take it slowly and get well in your own good time.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us fellow migrainers – you’re a star!
Take care, take time to relax, and enjoy a fab summer of travelling.
x 🙂 x
