Child with Migraine? The Migraine Trust Needs You!
Are you a parent or a care-giver of a child (11 and under) with migraine? Live in the UK? Then The Migraine Trust is asking for your help!
Would you take a few minutes to fill out a questionnaire related to children and migraine? It’s actually a two-parter – part to be filled out by you, and part by your child (yes, you can help!).
It’s an online questionnaire mainly asking briefly how migraine impacts life and how you would feel about getting together with others to discuss the issues and look for solutions.
This from The Migraine Trust:
Research has shown that migraine can have a detrimental effect on the lives of children and young people. Migraine can, for example, impact upon self-esteem, school attendance, education, making friends and taking part in activities. In order to address this The Migraine Trust wishes to support children and young people, their parents and carers.
We have put together a short questionnaire to help us determine what support is required, the demand for such support and how best it should be structured. We invite parents and carers of young migraine sufferers to complete the first part of the questionnaire, and children and young people who suffer from migraine to complete part two. If you have more than one child or young person we’d really appreciate it if each young sufferer could contribute their thoughts by completing a new survey.
