Closer to needle-free injections
Aradigm Corporation is a step closer to marketing their needle-free injection product. Another trial of the Intraject system was finished and the results were positive.
The study focused on 24 patients who injected themselves in the thigh, abdomen and arm. The results were similar to traditional needle injections.
Aradigm wants to provide triptan class drugs with this system for migraine and cluster sufferers. Injections can get the drug into your system fast, but many people have trouble successfully injecting with a needle. The Intraject system promises to be an easier way to stop the pain fast.
