Fight Migraine – and learn a New Instrument
What’s the connection between fighting migraine and learning to play an instrument? Well, there are a lot of connections, of course. To say the least, music is therapeutic, and music is a wonderful outlet in the challenging world we live in.
But this is actually a very specific connection. Neurologist and headache specialist Dr. Josh Turknett is known by many migraineurs as the author of the highly rated book, The Migraine Miracle.
But what you may not know is that Dr. Turknett took what he was learning about “changing the brain” and applied it to learning an instrument. In his case – the banjo. That’s right – Dr. Turknett is an amazing banjo player.
So in a great change of pace, it’s time to listen to Dr. Turknett talk about changing the brain, fighting migraine, and learning to play an instrument. The interview is from the Becoming Superhuman podcast – here it is!
