Vertigo & Dizziness – A headache disorder?

Dizziness and Vertigo could be a sign of migraine.  They could also indicate other headache conditions, such as…

• Acute Mountain Sickness:  A moderate headache often associated with mountain climbing / hiking.
• Benign paroxysmal vertigo of childhood:  Recurrent vertigo, usually in young children.  May include headache and vomiting.
• Chiari Malformation I:  A malformation of brain tissue which may cause other symptoms including visual problems and headache when coughing.
• Headache from head and/or neck trauma:  Headache occurring soon after hitting your head or injuring your neck.
• MSG induced headache:  A headache usually occurring within an hour after eating MSG.
