I wanted to share my migraine story and cure. I was diagnosed with migraines in my early 20’s and have family history of migraines. I would be afraid to leave my house if I didn’t have my Imitrex on me. I would take about 9-15 pills a month. I would worry I would have a migraine on a daily basis and would refrain from activities that might trigger it. Until this year I started the Alkaline diet (it is a way of life not a diet). I can’t remember the last time I had a migraine! These are anti-inflammatory foods, no dairy, no meat. It seems hard at first, but those that suffer like I do, a change in diet seems like an easy fix if I can live without the debilitating migraines.
