What is Allodynia?
- Cutaneous (skin) allodynia (skin sensitive/painful to the the touch)
- Most often on the scalp (hurts to comb your hair!)
- Also on other parts of the body (hurts to wear a shirt!)
- A common symptom of migraine and cluster headache
- May occur during a headache, or as a “warning signal”

I didn’t know it had a name…wow.. sometimes it kills if a single strand of hair is moved

Oh, my! I’m not crazy after all……I’ve suffered from this for a long time but didn’t know what it was nor did I associate it with my migraines/cluster headaches.
