Find a Clinical Trial in the USA
If you’re connected to Headache and Migraine News on Facebook or Twitter, you already see announcements regarding clinical trials that you might be able to participate in.
But the National Headache Foundation in the USA has provided a handy service that you can use to find trials right now that you can participate in.
It’s simple to use – simply head over to their Headache and Migraine Clinical Trials page. Next, you’ll be asked some basic questions, such as the type of trial you’re looking for, a zip code, and how far you’re willing to travel.
Next, you’ll be taken through a series of questions to narrow down which clinical trials you may be able to participate in – specific questions about your health, medications, etc.
You may not find anything right away, but the nice thing is that you can enter an email address and be notified if any trials become available in your area.
If you’re interested in furthering migraine research, or perhaps getting in on some cutting-edge treatment, this is certainly a tool worth checking out.

Regular visitors to Headache and Migraine News know that many supplements have helped many people, particularly with migraine. But we do have to be careful to use products from quality brands, and to be sure that we know how to read and understand labels.
ICHD-3 is a classification of headache disorders. The first edition was published over 30 years ago. As the years have gone by, new research has changed our understanding of migraine, and the ICHD itself is much more “evidence driven” and much less “opinion driven”, according to Jes Olesen, chairman of the Headache Classification Committee.
A centre focused on headache, pain, or migraine can be helpful for a migraine patient, if it’s a quality clinic.
