Yes, I have daily persistent headache and chronic migraine. Yes, I have applied for at least 10 studies, but never selected. So far I have found little relief. During Jan-March 2021, my migraines were 26-27 days per month ranging levels 6-8. I started Aimovig in January. I started Botox in April, migraine s lowered to 25, but daily headache remained everyday. In July I got new glasses designed to interrupt my vision which helped lower migraine to 19 that month, but daily headache remains. So far August appears to be similar. Can’t take triptans because it gives me flu like symptoms. So here I sit, same as I have sat for 57 years, hoping things will improve.

I also suffered from almost daily headaches. Triptans plus Naproxen usually gives me relief however insurance allows for only nine each month. It was stressful trying to decide if I should take a pill or try tough it out so I didn’t run through my nine pills before a refill was allowed! I started trying to change my diet and cutting back on flour and sugar. This seems to be helping along with daily supplements of 400 mg of magnesium and 300 mg of CoQ 10. I still get headaches especially when the weather changes however the number of headaches has definitely decreased. Hope this helps!
